Botera is the winner of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2019 for Contract category! The armchair, designed by e-ggs studio, has conquered the jury for its eclectic concept and bold body.
Padded with four different types of foam, Botera’s design focuses on comfort. A chunky cushion forms the base from which the high or low backrest is developed, making this armchair ideal for use in modular arrangements.
We celebrate the victory of our Botera at ADA as a starting point. The contract world is definitely for us. We have been quietly collaborating with Architecture Studios, now we are determined. We want to break down the final boundaries between home and contract settings to create a soft, personal, hybrid space. Botera is nothing but this.
We develop a sharing, collaborative approach; contributing to creating spaces that help us live better and provide greater motivation, where we can simply be ourselves, whether in the office, classroom or whilst waiting for our favourite dish or to get on a plane.
What about home? Public spaces work as places of transition, to experience them before going back home. Domestic spaces represent our roots, we’ll never forget to design home furniture. After all, Botera enjoys being on its own at home.
